Volunteer Work
Outside of work (when I'm not exploring the outdoors with my husband and our two rescue pitbulls) I'm proud to volunteer for two incredible nonprofit organizations, Path of Hope Rescue and CERAC: Campaign to End Religious Abuse of Children.

MISSION
Our mission statement is simple but powerful: Every Dog. WANTED. We focus on saving dogs from high-kill shelters in southern states, particularly in Texas, which sadly has the highest euthanasia rate in the country. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dogs are euthanized with pregnant dogs and puppies often at greatest risk due to the amount of resources they require.

WHY PATH OF HOPE?
What sets Path of Hope apart is that we do not operate a shelter facility. Instead, every dog we rescue is placed in a loving foster home where they receive personalized care, socialization, and a safe place to heal before finding their "furever" family.
PATH OF HOPE RESCUE
I'm proud to be Email Marketing Lead for Path of Hope Rescue, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster-based dog rescue headquartered in Spokane, Washington.
MY ROLE
Leading a team of 9 email marketing volunteers, I write, build, and manage targeted email campaigns to increase engagement, drive donations (both monetary and in-kind) and raise awareness about our mission.

MISSION
We are dedicated to raising awareness of how religious influence works to undermine laws that exist to protect children. This occurs at all levels of government in the form of “religious exemptions” that create ironclad loopholes favoring religious belief over the health, safety, and well-being of young people.

CERAC: Campaign to End Religious Abuse of Children
I'm proud to be a social media advisor for CERAC, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, also known as the Child Friendly Faith Project that works to share knowledge and build community around the issue of religious child maltreatment (RCM) and advocate for and empower those whose lives are impacted by RCM.
MY ROLE
From social media technical queries to account set up to content creation, I work alongside the managing director to help raise awareness about our mission.
